Directions for getting to The Old
Railway Inn
Directions
From the M4 Motorway Carry on to the end of the M4
to Pont Abraham service and carry on the dual
carriageway to Carmarthen. At the main Carmarthen roundabout, take the
third
exit marked town center/A40 Llandeilo.
At the next roundabout, carry straight on, still marked A40 Llandeilo.
Carry on
to the next roundabout and take the first exit off - marked Lampeter.
Continue on to the last roundabout and take the right exit marked A485
Lampeter (good idea to set the mileometer here).
Carry on to the A485 for 12.5 miles to the village of Llanllwni and look
out for
the builders merchants on the left hand side. Turn left immediately after
the
builders merchants, and go on down this lane for about 1.5 miles.....straight
over a small crossroads and over a narrow stone bridge. The Old Railway
is the
first turning on your left.
